How It Works

From Kickoff to First Audit-Ready Report in Two Weeks.

No phased rollouts. No Big-4 implementation contract. We seed your tenant with your contract structure, you log in.

01

30-Minute Discovery

Walk us through one active contract. We map your CLINs, LCATs, and COR signature flow into the platform.

Same Day
02

Tenant Provision and Seed

Your tenant goes live with role groups, permissions, and a DCAA-clean timekeeping baseline pre-configured. SSO if you need it.

Day 3
03

First Audit-Ready Report

CLIN burn, CDRL, and floor-check logs auto-generated. COR gets read-only portal access without a VPN.

Day 14
The Platform

One Operating System for Federal Contracting.

Replace the spreadsheets, point tools, and one-off SharePoint sites that hold federal programs together. KTR is purpose-built for the way prime contractors, subs, and government CORs actually work.

OPS

Operations Center

Live OPCON view with active missions, CCIR alerts, and on-deck work orders. Built for stand-ups, not screenshots.

DCAA

DCAA Timekeeping

Audit-ready labor capture with floor checks, daily revision logs, and CLIN-burn rollups. Survives a DCAA visit without a war room.

COR

COR Government Portal

A clean, read-only home for your COR. CDRL submissions, CLIN burn, GFP and CAP inventory, and after-action reports without VPN gymnastics.

GFP

GFP and Property

DD 1149 movements, vehicle inspections, and equipment chain-of-custody. Accountable down to serial and signature.

Role-Based Access

PMO, Site Manager, Contractor, COR, Property, and Finance. Each role gets its own view, sidebar, and permissions out of the box.

API

Integrations and SSO

SAM.gov, FPDS-NG, USAspending, CPARS, WAWF/PIEE, plus QuickBooks, DocuSign, Stripe, and Okta/Entra SSO.

Security and Compliance

The Boxes Your Contracting Officer Will Ask About. All Checked.

The compliance language federal contracts demand, in plain English. If your KO sends a security questionnaire, the answers are below.

FedRAMP
In Progress
On the Moderate authorization path. Federal civilian and DoD work in scope.
CMMC 2.0 L2
Mapped
Built to handle CUI. Maps to the 110 NIST 800-171 controls your prime is asking about.
SOC 2
In Audit
Type I audit underway. Type II to follow. Report shareable under NDA.
DCAA
Ready
Floor-check ready out of the box. Daily entry, supervisor approval, annotated revisions.
Encryption, Three Ways

Your Data Is Locked at Every Step.

Compliance frameworks ask three questions: is it encrypted moving, encrypted sitting still, and encrypted before sensitive fields ever hit the database. Yes, yes, and yes.

  • Same encryption your bank uses, in motion
  • Five separate keys at rest, so a problem in one place stays in one place
  • SSNs, dates of birth, and MFA codes scrambled before storage
  • Government-validated key custody (FIPS 140-3, the standard FedRAMP requires)
Your Data Stays Yours

Cross-Tenant Queries Are Technically Impossible.

Every record is tagged to your company. The platform does not have a "look across tenants" mode for regular users.

ACME
2,341 records
YOU
1,827 records
DELTA
956 records
ROW-LEVEL ISOLATION · ENFORCED

Every query carries your tenant ID by construction. There is no "forgot to add a where clause" failure mode.

Append-Only Audit Trail

Every Action. Every Actor. Every Time.

A live snippet from a tenant audit log. The trail itself cannot be edited, only added to.

No Standing Admin Access

KTR support staff do not have constant access to your data. Help requires temporary, time-boxed elevation that expires automatically.

2‍P

Two-Person Approval

Every elevation needs a second KTR person to approve. The request, the approver, and the actions taken are all in your audit trail.

👁

Emergency Access Is Witnessed

If something is on fire, a witness has to be on the call. Mandatory written review afterward. You see it all.

Vulnerability Tracker

Built-in tracker for security findings and the steps to fix them. The same artifact your prime, KO, or 3PAO will ask to see.

Common Questions

Everything You Would Ask in the First Call.

If your question is not here, ask in the demo form below.

Is KTR Truly DCAA-Compliant?
Yes. KTR captures audit-ready labor with floor checks, daily revision logs with annotated reasons, and CLIN-level burn rollups. The timekeeping module is built around DCAA expectations for daily entry, supervisor approval, and revision audit trails. It is not bolted on after the fact.
How Long Does Implementation Take?
Pro tenants are typically issuing audit-ready reports inside 14 days. We seed your tenant with your contract structure, CLIN schedule, and role assignments during a 30-minute discovery call. No phased rollouts.
Does the COR Really Not Need a VPN?
Correct. The COR Government Portal is a separate, read-only surface scoped to a single contract. CDRL submissions, CLIN burn, GFP and CAP inventory, and AARs land there with no VPN, no SharePoint, and no shared mailbox.
What About CUI, FedRAMP, and CMMC?
Short version: yes, you can hand this to your contracting officer. KTR is on the FedRAMP Moderate path. We map cleanly to CMMC 2.0 Level 2 (the 110 controls your prime asks about). Sensitive fields like SSNs and dates of birth are encrypted before they ever touch the database, on top of bank-grade encryption everywhere else. Ask in the demo form for our Encryption and Compliance Posture write-up. It is the document your security team will want to read.
Is My Data Actually Safe?
Yes, in three different ways. One: when data moves between your browser and KTR, it travels over an encrypted connection (the same kind your bank uses). Two: when data sits on disk inside KTR, every database, backup, and log file is locked with an encryption key. We use five separate keys for different parts of the system, so a problem in one place stays in one place. Three: the most sensitive fields — SSN, date of birth, MFA codes, candidate contact info — are scrambled before they hit the database. Even our own database administrator cannot read them without the key.
What Does "Government-Grade" Mean Here?
Two things. First, our encryption keys are managed inside the same hardware module the federal government itself uses. It is validated to a standard called FIPS 140-3, which is what FedRAMP and CMMC require. Second, your password is stored using a modern hashing method (Argon2id) that the National Institute of Standards and Technology recommends. Translation: even if a database file leaked tomorrow, your passwords would still be useless to whoever found them.
Who at KTR Can See My Tenant?
By default, nobody at KTR has standing access to your data. Just the people you invite into your tenant, in the role you assign them. When KTR support needs to reproduce an issue, they request temporary access that is time-boxed (it expires automatically) and requires a second KTR person to approve. For true emergencies, there is a "break-glass" workflow that requires a witness on the call and a written review afterward. Every one of those events shows up in your audit trail. You see it. We cannot hide it.
Which Federal Data Sources Are Integrated?
FPDS-NG, SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, GovTribe, and CPARS for inbound. WAWF, iRAPT, and PIEE with CAC authentication for outbound government submission. Plus QuickBooks, Stripe, DocuSign, and Okta or Entra SSO.
Can I Bring My Own SSO?
Enterprise plans include OIDC SSO via Okta or Microsoft Entra. We can configure SCIM provisioning during onboarding so new hires land in the right role group automatically.
Per-Seat Pricing. What Counts as a Seat?
An active user with login access in the trailing 30 days. Government CORs accessing the read-only COR portal are not counted as seats on Enterprise plans.
Can I Export My Data?
Anytime. Every list page exposes CSV export, and we provide a full-tenant SQL dump on request. The Reports Center generates CDRL, CFSR, and CPARS-style exports in their native government formats.
